Booked your summer holiday and want to shape up in time for the beach? Or looking to shed those excess winter pounds? Why not try our Reshape Rotherham scheme?

Reshape Rotherham is a free service designed to help you lose weight, get fitter and lead a healthier life. Run by nutrition experts from The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, the service is available to anyone with a Rotherham GP.

The programme consists of 10 weekly, hour long sessions designed to help you make long term changes towards a healthier diet and lifestyle."As the nights get lighter and the days get warmer, we naturally start thinking about getting out and about and becoming more active.

"Here at Reshape Rotherham, we can really help you to make those small changes to change your life, lose weight, get fitter and make healthier lifestyle choices": explains Alyson Fedak from Reshape Rotherham.ReShape Rotherham is delivered in local community venues in and around Rotherham. It offers a welcoming and friendly environment with support to help you make changes to lose weight and keep it off. Alyson says: "We cover four main areas, including improving the diet, increasing activity and looking at lifestyles. We also offer support from weight management staff after the programme has been completed, so we help people stay on track and stick to their goals."Anyone with a BMI of 25 or above can get involved or you may be referred by your GP or Practice Nurse.
